Family Snowshoeing Day Tour in the Pyhrn-Priel Region

Family Card Dates: Each family receives a €10 shopping voucher for our store, which can be redeemed after the hike. Only one voucher can be redeemed per family. (The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.)

Physical requirements:

You don’t need an exceptional level of fitness. The panorama tour has no slopes steeper than 25°. No skiing or alpine experience is required!

Weather:

If the weather doesn’t cooperate on the planned date for this adventure, we’ll work together to find a suitable alternative date.

Duration:

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. pure walking time approx. 3–3.5 hours

Group size:

from 8 up to a maximum of 50 participants

Equipment / clothing:

• Dress warmly, but in several layers according to the “onion principle.” This allows you to adjust your warmth to the conditions at any time.
• Hat and gloves: These help keep the body parts warm through which most heat would otherwise be lost.
• Sun and cold protection for all exposed body parts (face, nose, ears). A good pair of sunglasses is especially important in winter!
• Wear waterproof yet breathable shoes with good insulation — hiking boots or winter boots with solid grip are ideal.
• Bring enough to drink, as physical activity can cause significant fluid loss. Insulated drinking systems make it especially easy to stay hydrated on the go.
