• Dress warmly, but in several layers according to the "onion skin principle". This allows you to adapt the heat effect to the conditions at any time.
• Hat and gloves: These keep those parts of the body warm through which most of the heat is otherwise lost.
• Cold protection for all exposed parts of the body (face, nose, ears).
• A headlamp is recommended if the moon is hidden behind the mountains or clouds.
• Shoes that are as waterproof as possible but breathable with good insulation: mountain boots or winter boots with good grip are suitable.
• Pack enough to drink, because the loss of fluids is enormous during strenuous activities. Insulated drinking systems make drinking on the go particularly easy.
