Find out at the Highland Games - tactics, team spirit and lots of fun guaranteed. The Highland Games date back to the time of the Celtic kings in Scotland. They were held to find the strongest and fastest men in Scotland, who then often became bodyguards and messengers for the king. But many games from everyday life and life were also integrated into the Highland Games.

Important information:
Different stations are held in individual teams and a winner is then chosen:
• Tossing The Wellie - long-distance throwing with wellingtons. Historically, the housewife, concerned about keeping the house clean, would throw the dirty wellingtons that her husband came into the house with out of the house in a "high arc". • Tug - o - war (tug of war) - rope pulling competition between 2 groups of Scots in kilts. • Tossing the caber (log throwing) - rope pulling competition between 2 groups of Scots in kilts. • Others: nailing competitions, beer mug lifting, horseshoe throwing, wheelbarrow racing, archery etc.

Weather independent – rainwear for all participants and partly covered stations in rainy weather
