Sailing Skipper Training

From the 2024 season, we offer you the unique opportunity to complete 2.5-day skipper training courses at work-friendly times (weekends) WITHOUT a long journey to Croatia etc. here in the Salzkammergut. The most modern and, above all, top-equipped training yachts between 30 and 35 feet await you and with Mixed Offshore European Champion and Mini Transat Hero Christian Kargl and his SALT team, you will be coached by one of the best offshore sailors in the country, among others. The maneuvers in the narrow boxes in particular repeatedly cause stress for inexperienced charter crews, resulting in damage. The marinas in the Adriatic and Mediterranean ports are often overcrowded in the high season and you are often forced to moor your yacht in a narrow box in the last corner of the harbor. This can cause stress that is not necessary. After longer breaks from sailing, we recommend that you refresh your knowledge again and again and practice all the necessary "standard" maneuvers - guaranteed stress-free and under the guidance of internationally successful trainers. The thermal winds and training conditions in our home base on Lake Traunsee are known far beyond the country's borders and offer the perfect "playing field" to practice all harbor maneuvers even in medium and strong winds.
