Physical requirements:

A hot air balloon ride is suitable for almost everyone. For safety reasons, children must be at least 120 cm tall or 8 years old. For passengers under the age of 18, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

In the case of heart, circulatory or lung conditions, hip or knee problems, or pregnancy, we kindly ask you to consult your doctor on your own responsibility before participating.

Important information:

As we travel with the wind, it is not possible to determine in advance the exact direction of the flight or the landing location. Depending on the conditions and wind situation, your pilot will choose a suitable landing site. The chase crew will arrive there during or shortly after the landing.

Weather:

Safety first” – our experienced pilots carefully check the weather conditions and forecasts before every takeoff. Reasons for cancelling a flight include, for example, strong ground winds, low cloud cover, or poor visibility.

Weather conditions are, of course, checked in advance to avoid unnecessary travel whenever possible. However, in some cases a flight may still need to be cancelled at short notice for safety reasons. We kindly ask for your understanding and will be happy to arrange a new date with you

Duration:

You will experience the hot air balloon ride in all its facets – from preparing the balloon together to packing it up after landing. Afterwards, the traditional balloonist baptism takes place at the balloon hangar.

Please plan 3 to 4 hours for your “ballooning experience,” including approximately 1 to 1.5 hours in the air.

Group size:

The balloon experience can be booked individually or as a group of up to a maximum of 20 people

Spectators / accompanying persons:

Your family or friends are welcome to watch the takeoff and/or landing. For safety reasons, all spectators must follow the instructions of the team.

Equipment / clothing:

Dress according to the season. It’s best to wear the kind of clothing you would choose for a walk outdoors. As the balloon travels with the wind, there is no wind chill in the air, and temperatures are often perceived as milder than on the ground.

Please bring: warm winter clothing, especially sturdy waterproof footwear. As the flight may take place at higher altitudes over the main Alpine ridge, oxygen is, of course, available on board for every passenger.
