Tandem-Paragliding Salzburg City "Classic "

Physical requirements:

Tandem paragliders allow a weight range for passengers to be anywhere from 15 kg to 110 kg. There is no age limit and we have experience flying young children from age 6 as well as senior citizens. Physical fitness is of course an advantage but not a requirement. If there are any uncertainties that arise, please feel free to discuss them with us. We're happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

Important information:

Pictures and Video of your flight on SD card bookable on spot: If you like your pilot will take picutures and will film you during the tandem flight. The footage you will get directly after the flight on a SD card.

Weather:

Flying is only possible at good weather conditions.

Duration:

The trip takes about 2 hours in total. Your flying time depends on the wind conditions and thermals and can last between 10-15 minutes.

From March to September we are meeting at the FlyTandem trailer on the top of Mount Gaisberg, which is easily reached by car or public bus can be. In autumn and winter we meet at Gasthaus Kohlmayr which is also on top of the Mountain.

The bus (line 151) leaves the city, from the "Mirabellplatz" bus stop, passing the landing area, "Guggenthal Volksschule" bus stop, directly to the top of the Gaisberg, to "Gaisbergspitze" stop.

Please note: the bus is on the top for the first time at 10:10 am. If you have already booked your flight at 8:40 am, you cannot use the bus to get there. Basically, the bus that arrives 8 minutes before the appointment is enough - if it is too late, we will wait for you. But we still recommend, if you have enough time, to take a bus beforehand to enjoy the view on the mountain. There are also 2 restaurants up on the mountain, both of which we can recommend. If you are traveling alone with your own car, you can park your car at the landing site in Guggenthal and get on the bus at the stop "Guggenthal Volksschule". Remember to be there in time! Group size:

Experience the tandem flight together with up to 4 friends - simultaneously. Of course, in the air you are alone with your tandem master.

Spectators / accompanying persons:

Family and friends can watch you become airborne and take pictures at the take off, where a mountain hut restaurant is located or they can wait for you at the landing field, both options are possible. The area around Gaisberg Mountain is perfect for hiking and ideally situated for all nature lovers.

Equipment / clothing:

We recommend wearing hiking boots, pants and a jacket for your flight. Depending on the weather conditions, you may also want to bring a pair of gloves with you.

Flexibility:

You can gift the greatest possible flexibility with a voucher.

Date availability:

Predefined dates are offered, but dates are also possible on request.

Appointment:

In the case of vouchers, appointments are made directly with the Adventure Partner after they have been redeemed. In the case of tickets, an appointment is fixed at the time of booking.
