THE SPECIAL ADVENTURE FOR OUTDOOR FANS A childhood dream ... As a child, you too built your own cave in the snow, crawled inside and let your imagination run wild? Building your own shelter somewhere in the vastness of winter under your own steam undoubtedly has a timeless fascination. As adults, however, we quickly develop other ideas, probably also more realistic demands on a dwelling. ... becomes reality Some have tried it again later. All those who succeeded rave about it. In our igloo building workshop you will learn the necessary techniques to successfully build a classic igloo suitable for sleeping. With professional guidance we will build such a protected space in the snow together - of course with the aim of setting up camp there for the night. In a safe environment Just try it out at indoor temperatures from 0C° to +5C°! If it gets too cold for you, or if you change your mind, nothing is lost. Even to warm up in between, the warm and cozy cottage atmosphere is available. And if you then actually prefer, there is definitely a sleeping place reserved for you in the nearby alpine hut! Try yourself In any case: your overnight stay in the self-built igloo will remain in your memory as an extraordinary experience and a true adventure. PACKING LIST

Backpack & Drink Bottle
Pack enough to drink, as fluid loss is especially high during physically demanding activities in winter.

Sunglasses & sunscreen
Sun as well as cold protection for all exposed body parts (face, nose, ears). Good sunglasses are especially important in winter!

Headlamp & earplugs

Hut shoes & towel
As waterproof as possible, but breathable shoes with good insulating properties: mountain boots or winter boots with good grip are suitable.

Waterproof and warm clothing
Thermal underwear, gloves, hood, down jacket, waterproof winter hiking boots (such as the Lowa Renegade)
Dress warmly, but in several layers according to the "onion-skin principle". This way, the warming effect can be adjusted to the conditions at any time.
Hat and gloves: This will keep those parts of your body warm that otherwise lose most of the heat.

Comfortable clothing for the hut

Camping mat & warm sleeping bag
Comfort range down to -10°C, if you don't have a sleeping bag you can rent one here.
